USA Design Companies

About

Most design directories sort companies by service type — web, branding, app. We think that's the wrong first question for a lot of buyers. The harder problem usually isn't whether a company can design something well; it's whether they understand the specific constraints of the industry they're designing for. A healthcare product, a SaaS platform, an ecommerce brand, and a web3/crypto product are four genuinely different design problems, and we built this site to sort companies by which of those problems they're actually built to solve.

Why we sort by industry

Compliance in healthcare, retention mechanics in SaaS, conversion rate in ecommerce, and a still-forming visual language in web3/crypto all demand something different from a design partner. Sorting by service type hides that. Sorting by industry surfaces it.

How we verify

Every company here is checked against its own site, named client work we can independently confirm, and third-party sources — industry press, review platforms, portfolio archives — rather than a self-submitted profile. If we can't find a real, checkable project behind a claimed specialty, we leave it off rather than guess.

We also don't require a company to be headquartered in any particular city. Several companies here operate remote-first with no single physical headquarters, and we note that clearly on each profile rather than implying a local presence that doesn't exist.

How companies get added or removed

A company earns a spot by having real, named client work in the specific industry we've placed it in. We revisit the list periodically and remove companies whose sites go dark, whose claims we can no longer verify, or whose work has clearly moved on from a category we've listed them under.
